Frogkisser | Garth Nix | Review

A likeable tale about a Princess, some frogs, talking dogs and lipbalm – you’ll love it!

I have never read any Garth Nix before and from this book, I will definatly look into his other offerings.

I just adore the cover and have to admit that, it is what drew me to to investigate more, as you can see it is delightful 🙂

A young princess with an evil uncle who wants to be rid of her so he can rule the land, his evil powers are growing day by day and Princess Anya finds she must go on a dangerous quest to retrieve ingredients for a spell reversal lipbalm, you see, anyone that stands in his way or annoys him is turned into a frog, her pond is full of frogs and she must kiss a prince to turn him back!

There is humour, magic and I gained total enjoyment from this book, it is not a ‘heavy’ story, and do not feel that I am doing this book any justice with this review, but I fo you like a lightweight fairy tale type story, then this is for you.

I have the hardback and the audio version, and both are very good, totally recommend them both.

TTFN!
